Ember Throne Saga

Ember Throne Saga is denser than most phone RPGs I've tried. You build a party, learn a proper skill web, and fight in turn-based battles where positioning actually changes outcomes. The writing carries real weight, and a few decisions genuinely branched my playthrough.

Combat leans tactical without becoming a spreadsheet. You weigh cooldowns, elemental matchups, and when to spend limited resources, but it's readable enough to enjoy in short sessions. I lost a couple of evenings to it, which is the highest praise I can give.

It's a big download and asks for patience early on, but the payoff is a world you want to keep exploring. Fans of long RPGs will feel right at home on a small screen.
